Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Experienced Cabinet Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in prepping, painting, and finishing cabinetry to a high standard. This role requires strong attention to detail, knowledge of various painting techniques and finishes, and the ability to deliver quality results that meet client expectations.
Responsibilities
- Prepare cabinet surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and priming to ensure proper adhesion.
- Mix, match, and apply paints, stains, or finishes according to project specifications.
- Use spray equipment, brushes, and rollers to achieve smooth and consistent finishes.
- Repair minor imperfections such as cracks, dents, or scratches before painting.
- Mask and protect surrounding areas to prevent overspray or damage.
- Maintain and clean tools, equipment, and workspace regularly.
- Follow safety procedures and use protective equipment as required.
- Ensure all work is completed on schedule and meets quality standards.
- Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and clients regarding progress and expectations.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional painting experience, preferably with cabinetry or fine finishes.
- Strong knowledge of surface preparation, painting techniques, and finishing methods.
- Experience with HVLP spray guns and other professional painting tools.
- Ability to match and mix paints and stains accurately.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Physical ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.
