Title: Orthodontic Assistant
Location: Richmond, VA
Schedule: Tuesday–Friday, 8:30am–5:00 pm; with occasional Mondays & Saturdays

Your Role:
- Greet patients (and parents) and escort them to the treatment area
- Assist chairside during procedures (wire ties, bracket placement prep, digital scanning)
- Perform patient imaging, including clinical photographs and digital X-rays
- Educate patients & parents on treatment, care instructions, oral hygiene, and retention
- Prepare clinical exam areas and sterilize instruments
- Update patient charts with treatment notes and images
- Support the clinical and administrative team to ensure smooth daily operations
- Be willing to cross-train in other roles
- Participate in front desk rotation as needed
- Attend community events as needed

Other qualifications:
- At least two years of experience working with patients or customers, with at least one year in a dental or healthcare setting preferred.
- VA X-ray certification, CPR/BLS a plus
- Orthodontic assistant or general dental assistant certification a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a can-do attitude
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail
- High level of integrity and work ethic
- Comfortable working with children and traveling between our two Richmond office locations
