Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Production Supervisor to lead the production department. In this role, you will oversee daily production activities, ensure safety standards are maintained, and drive continuous process improvements. Your leadership will motivate teams, optimize workflows, and uphold quality and safety standards. Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of production team, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to schedules.
- Scheduling production and processing batches within the computer system.
- process daily work orders and produce paperwork for the production department.
- Manage safety protocols rigorously, conducting regular safety inspections and ensuring compliance with all safety standards in production.
- Oversee daily production process
- Review daily work and ensure processes and procedures are followed.
- Enforce safety standards in production environments by PPE evaluatio.
- Manage production or assembly teams by assigning tasks, providing coaching, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Proven experience working in a manufacturing facility or distribution warehouse
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to multi-task and flexibility to schedule changes.
- Logistics or system management degree in place of work experience.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and process improvement techniques to optimize productivity.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high safety standards.
- Excellent communication skills for documents and coordinating with team members.
