Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS accurately to process retail sales transactions efficiently.
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders, answering questions about menu items, and offering personalized recommendations.
- Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including counters, equipment, and seating areas, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.
- Handle cash transactions with precision, process payments securely, and give accurate change using basic math skills.
- Assist with food handling and preparation tasks as needed, ensuring all food safety protocols are followed diligently.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining quality standards.
Experience
- Previous barista experience or food service background is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn!
- Familiarity with café operations, beverage preparation techniques, and food handling procedures is advantageous.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing.
- Experience using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
