DARTherapy is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team for a 13 year old boy ASD client. As an RBT, you will provide direct behavior therapy services to individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral challenges, under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). You will work closely with clients, families, and caregivers to implement behavior intervention plans and provide ongoing support to achieve targeted goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA.
- Provide direct one-on-one therapy sessions with clients.
- Collect data on client progress and report findings to the BCBA.
- Collaborate with the BCBA to develop, modify, and revise behavior intervention plans as needed.
- Communicate regularly with clients, families, and caregivers to provide ongoing support and progress updates.
- Attend regular meetings with the BCBA to review client progress and discuss treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of therapy sessions and client progress.
- Ensure adherence to ethical and professional standards of behavior analysis.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred).
- Completion of a 40-hour RBT training program.
- Current RBT certification.
- Must be fluent ENGLISH (Required)
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral challenges.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Willingness to adhere to ethical and professional standards of behavior analysis
Skills:
- The ideal candidate should possess the following skills:
- - Familiarity with medical records and terminology.
- - Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or children.
- - Proficiency in behavior management techniques.
- - Strong patient care abilities.
- - Knowledge of creating care plans and assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
- - Understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles.
- - Competence in medical documentation practices.
