Duties
- Greet customers warmly and listen carefully to understand their concerns and service needs
- Explain repair procedures, estimates, and service options clearly and transparently
- Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs, ensuring timely completion of service
- Upsell additional services and maintenance based on diagnostics and mechanical assessments to maximize customer satisfaction and revenue
- Prepare detailed service write-ups and estimates and communicate these effectively to customers
- Handle transactions accurately while maintaining professionalism in all interactions
- Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and promote ongoing service and sales opportunities
Requirements
- Proven experience with a service advisor background
- Strong knowledge of equipment service management, diagnostics, mechanical systems, and repair procedures
- Familiarity with service writing and automotive repair processes
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients of all backgrounds
- Experience in upselling services and sales to enhance customer value and company profitability
- Mechanical experience or mechanic background preferred for better understanding of issues
