American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical Pulmonary Stepdown (PCU) position in Indianapolis, IN, requiring active IN or compact RN licensure and experience managing medically complex patients with vasoactive drips.

44-bed Medical Pulmonary Stepdown unit caring for a medically complex patient population
-
All patients on continuous bedside cardiac monitoring
-
Typical RN-to-patient ratio of 1:4
-
Vasoactive and high-alert drips include heparin, insulin, cardizem, nicardipine, and dobutamine
-
Day shift: 07:00–19:30
-
36 hours per week
-
Every other weekend required
-
One major holiday required per contract

Active IN RN license or compact RN license currently in hand

Current BLS certification (AHA)

Current ACLS certification (AHA)
-
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required

Minimum 1 year of RN experience
