Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Warehouse Logistics Coordinator to join our supply chain operations team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the efficient management of warehouse distribution, transportation planning, and inventory control processes. Your expertise will drive process improvements, optimize freight and shipping logistics, and ensure seamless coordination across procurement, vendor management, and customer service functions. Responsibilities
- Coordinate warehouse distribution activities, including stocking, shipping & receiving, and materials handling to ensure timely order fulfillment and inventory accuracy.
- Manage transportation logistics using transportation management systems (TMS) and ERP platforms such as AS400 or SAP to optimize freight routes, reduce costs, and improve delivery performance.
- Collaborate with procurement teams on sourcing strategies, vendor management, and contract negotiations to secure competitive pricing and favorable terms.
- Conduct root cause analysis on supply chain disruptions or inventory discrepancies to identify process inefficiencies and implement corrective actions.
- Utilize data analysis tools like Tableau, SQL, Excel data analysis, and spreadsheets to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), demand planning accuracy, and inventory levels.
- Oversee warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management systems to maintain accurate stock levels and streamline warehouse operations.
- Engage in cross-functional communication with production planning, customer service, freight carriers (including NVOCC), 3PL providers, and trade compliance teams to ensure smooth logistics flow across international trade regulations.
Skills
- Extensive experience with warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management systems, ERP platforms (such as AS400), and transportation management systems (TMS).
- Strong data collection and analysis skills using SQL, Excel (including data analysis), Tableau, and other business intelligence tools.
- Proven ability in procurement experience, sourcing negotiations, vendor management, and contract administration.
- Knowledge of freight logistics including shipping & receiving processes, freight cost optimization, NVOCC operations, and international trade regulations.
- Mechanical knowledge related to warehouse equipment such as forklifts; certification preferred.
- Expertise in process improvement methodologies like root cause analysis and category management to enhance operational efficiency.
- Familiarity with demand planning tools like MRP systems (Material Requirements Planning) and production planning processes.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration across supply chain functions; adept at managing multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
