Provide dedicated 1:1 nursing care for a medically fragile student

Monitor the student's medical needs and implement their individualized healthcare plan

Administer medications and treatments as directed

Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care

Maintain accurate documentation and respond to medical needs throughout the school day

When the student is absent, provide health room coverage as a float nurse between multiple school sites
Qualifications:

Active Kansas Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license

Previous experience working with medically fragile students, pediatric patients, or in a school setting is preferred

Strong communication, organization, and clinical skills

Ability to work independently while collaborating with the school team
