Role Description
This is a contract role for a Private Music Instructor and is located on-site in Frederick, MD. The instructor will be responsible for teaching private lessons, with the possibility of leading group sessions, and facilitating ensemble activities. Responsibilities include designing lesson plans tailored to students' needs, promoting music theory and performance skills, and fostering a positive learning environment to inspire student growth and passion for music.
Qualifications
- Proficient in focus area, multiple instruments a plus
- Knowledge of music theory and music education
- Experience in leading music ensembles
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Degree in music or equivalent professional experience is preferred
- Ability to work effectively with students across varied ages and skill levels
- Previous teaching experience in music education is a plus
Pay: $42.00 - $54.00 per hour
