State Technical College of Missouri is accepting applications for a CDL Lab Instructor to start July 2026 (Fall Semester) within the Commercial Drivers' License Department. This is a full time, 9-month annual contract, exempt, and benefit-eligible position for a Commercial Driver's Lab Instructor. Apply today at https://statetechmo.edu/human-resources/
Required Qualifications: A minimum of five years of experience in the Commercial Driver's license industry as well as excellent communication, computer, and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications: Teaching/training experience and five or more years of related work experience in Class A CDL.
- Instruction: Provide classroom lectures and hands-on-training to students on operating commercial vehicles safely and effectively.
- Hands-on Education: Conduct on-the- road lessons, demonstrating proper driving techniques and vehicle inspections.
- Assessment: Evaluate student performance through written tests and practical driving assessments to ensure they meet the necessary standards for obtaining a CDL.
