Saraga International Grocery is a dynamic and growing grocery store committed to providing exceptional customer service and high-quality products. We are seeking motivated individuals to join our team in various departments: Cashier, Produce, Grocery, Meat, and Seafood.
Job Summary:
As a valued member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers. Your responsibilities may include:
- Customer Service: Providing friendly and efficient service to customers, answering questions, and resolving issues.
- Product Knowledge: Staying informed about our products, including ingredients, preparation tips, and dietary information.
- Inventory Management: Stocking shelves, rotating inventory, and maintaining accurate records.
- Cash Handling: Accurately processing transactions and handling cash and credit card payments (for Cashier positions).
- Food Preparation: Preparing and displaying fresh produce, meats, and seafood (for Produce, Meat, and Seafood positions).
- Store Maintenance: Keeping the store clean, organized, and well-stocked.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively.
- Familiarity with grocery store operations is a plus.
- Excellent phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries over the phone.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
