You will assist with a wide range of tasks on construction sites, assisting in creating high-quality structures while developing your skills. Duties
- Assist skilled tradespeople with framing, trim carpentry, roofing, siding, and fixture installation tasks
- Support the setup and cleanup of construction sites
- Handle hand tools and power tools safely to aid in cutting, measuring, and assembling materials
- Help with concrete forming, masonry work, and rebar installation
- Carry out heavy lifting and material transport to keep projects progressing efficiently
- Support specialized tasks such as drywall installation, caulking, stucco application, flooring, tile laying, and electrical or plumbing rough-ins
Requirements
- Prior experience or familiarity with construction sites or carpentry work is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and work in physically demanding environments
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools
- Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward learning new skills on the job
- Valid physical ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the workday
