Tiny Seeds Preschool exists to provide Christ-centered early childhood education that nurtures children academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually. We are seeking a caring, dependable, and enthusiastic Assistant Teacher who is passionate about supporting young children and partnering with families in a faith-based learning environment.

Education & Experience
- Coursework in Early Childhood Education, a related field, or equivalent professional experience preferred.
- Minimum of one year of experience working in a school, childcare, or early learning environment.
Certifications & Requirements
- Current CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain within the first month of employment.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Oregon Registry Online (ORO) account required.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
Responsibilities
Classroom Support & Instruction
- Assist the Lead Teacher in implementing daily lessons and classroom activities.
- Support children's learning through developmentally appropriate interactions and guidance.
- Integrate biblical principles and a Christian worldview throughout classroom activities and relationships.
- Help prepare instructional materials and learning environments.
Student Support & Classroom Management
- Foster a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment.
- Support positive behavior and classroom routines.
- Supervise children during classroom activities, outdoor play, meals, and transitions.
- Promote children's social, emotional, physical, and academic development.
Observation & Assessment
- Observe and document children's growth, development, and learning.
- Share observations with teaching staff to support individualized learning and care.
Family Communication & Community Engagement
- Build positive relationships with students and families.
- Communicate professionally with parents and guardians as directed by the Lead Teacher or Administration.
- Support family engagement activities and school events.
Facility Care & Organization
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment.
- Assist with daily cleaning, sanitizing, and classroom housekeeping responsibilities.
- Help ensure learning spaces remain safe and free of clutter.
Professional Responsibilities
- Maintain excellent attendance, punctuality, and reliability.
- Follow all Oregon licensing requirements, school policies, and safety procedures.
- Attend required staff meetings, training sessions, professional development days, parent events, open houses, and school programs.
- Demonstrate professionalism, integrity, respect, and Christ-like character in all interactions.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to actively supervise and engage with young children throughout the day.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 40 pounds as needed.
- Ability to bend, kneel, sit on the floor, and move frequently throughout the workday.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
