Duties
- Interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and production documents to accurately assemble mechanical components.
- Use hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, and specialized industrial tools to assemble parts according to specifications.
- Measure and verify component dimensions using calipers, micrometers, measuring instruments, and shop math to ensure precision.
- Conduct mechanical assembly tasks such as machining, soldering, and fitting parts while adhering to safety protocols and PPE requirements.
- Operate manual handling equipment and perform warehouse tasks related to material movement and inventory management.
- Follow assembly instructions meticulously, ensuring quality control through inspection of assembled units with measuring instruments.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while complying with safety standards related to PPE use and equipment handling.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in mechanical assembly or manufacturing environments with familiarity in interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
- Proficiency in using measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and shop math for precise measurements.
- Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by experience with hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, and specialized industrial equipment.
- Ability to read schematics and interpret complex technical drawings accurately.
- Experience with soldering, machining, manual handling, warehouse operations, and the use of PPE is highly desirable.
- Excellent attention to detail combined with strong manual dexterity for assembling small or intricate parts.
- Prior experience in manufacturing or shop environments that require interpreting technical documentation and working with manufacturing processes.

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
