About the Role
As a Certified Dietary Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the dietary department and ensuring that all patients receive high-quality, nutritious meals in a safe and efficient manner. You will work closely with our kitchen staff, dietary aides, and other healthcare professionals to develop menus, manage food inventory, and implement diet therapy programs.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the dietary department, including supervising staff, monitoring food production, and implementing quality control measures
Develop menus and meal plans that cater to diverse patient needs and preferences
Conduct food safety and sanitation inspections, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop diet therapy programs and monitor patient progress
Manage food inventory, including ordering, receiving, and storing supplies
Develop and maintain accurate records, reports, and databases
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control standards
Requirements
Certification as a Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) or Certified Nutritionist (CN)
Minimum 0 years of experience in dietary management or a related field
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information
Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic medical records
