The Housekeeper is responsible for cleaning and maintaining guest rooms, hallways, and public areas to ensure a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for guests. This role supports hotel standards by preparing rooms efficiently, restocking supplies, and reporting maintenance or safety concerns.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Clean and reset guest rooms according to hotel standards.
- Change bed linens, make beds, replace towels, and restock toiletries and guest amenities.
- Vacuum, dust, sweep, mop, and disinfect guest rooms and public areas.
- Clean bathrooms, empty trash, and remove dirty linens.
- Restock housekeeping carts and supply closets as needed.
- Report lost-and-found items, maintenance issues, and room damages promptly.
- Respond to guest requests in a courteous and professional manner.
- Follow all safety, sanitation, and privacy standards.
Qualifications
- Previous housekeeping or hotel experience preferred.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift during the shift.
- Availability to work mornings, weekends, holidays, and varying shifts as needed.
Physical Requirements
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting.
- Ability to push housekeeping carts and carry linens, supplies, and cleaning materials.
- Work in a fast-paced environment with daily room turnover goals.
Pay: $16.00 per hour
