Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service to enhance their shopping experience
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently
- Conduct product demos to showcase new or featured chocolates, encouraging upselling opportunities
- Assist with stocking shelves, merchandising displays, and maintaining a clean, inviting store environment
- Handle cash register operations including cash handling, cash drawer management, and basic math calculations
- Offer bilingual support to serve diverse customer needs and improve overall communication
- Provide knowledgeable assistance on store products, including ingredients, flavors, and pairing suggestions
Qualifications
- Previous retail sales or grocery store experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm is key!
- Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering, and retail math to ensure smooth transactions
- Strong communication skills with excellent phone etiquette and customer service abilities
- Supervising experience is a plus for those interested in leadership opportunities during the season
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as stocking and merchandising
