Responsible for planning, supervising, organizing and directing functions of the IS Dept. Able to demonstrate thorough knowledge of software, mainframes, mini/micro computers, communication and telecommunication systems database and networks. Resolves complex organizational and technological problems. Develops, implements, evaluates information technology programs based on systems analysis. Establishes policies and procedures for procurement, installation and support of computers, application systems, communications and telecommunication systems. Follows the facility’s policies and procedures, local, state and federal regulations. Prepares, implements and monitors department annual budget.
