American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with ICU experience for a 13-week travel assignment at a hospital in Richmond, VA.
-
Work in a Respiratory Therapy Unit within a 430-bed hospital
-
Normal floor assignment includes 20-25 treatments per round
-
Utilizes oxygen, BIPAP/CPAP, ventilators, nebulizers, and blood gas machines
-
Performs procedures including nebulizer treatments, BIPAP/CPAP, ventilator management, and arterial blood gases
-
Uses Meditech EMR system
-
Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
-
Rotating weekend requirement
-
On-call requirement of approximately one 24-hour shift every 5-6 weeks
-
13-week assignment length
-
Current RRT credential required
-
Current VA state license required (license required if applicable)

Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
-
Minimum 2 years of experience required
-
ICU experience required
-
Candidates without ICU experience will not be considered

No gaps in work history equaling 90 days or more in the past 12 months

Navy blue scrubs required

Best suited for candidates who thrive in a fast-paced environment

Must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility with no exceptions for local candidates
