Duties

- Manage food production processes efficiently for high-volume output while maintaining quality standards
- Handle food preparation tasks such as mixing, piping, layering, and assembling desserts with attention to detail
- Ensure proper food handling, safety, and sanitation practices in accordance with food safety management protocols
- Package finished products attractively for retail or catering purposes, ensuring freshness and presentation standards are met
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop new recipes and improve existing pastry offerings
- Assist in catering events by preparing desserts that meet client specifications and presentation expectations
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen workspace, equipment, and tools to uphold health regulations
Skills
- Extensive pastry experience with a strong portfolio of baked goods and dessert creations
- Proficiency in cake decorating techniques using various tools and mediums
- Solid understanding of food production processes within a fast-paced environment
- Excellent knife skills for precise food preparation and ingredient handling
- Experience in high-volume food production settings such as bakeries or restaurants

- Customer service orientation with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members
