Position: Welder/Fitter Combo
Location: Cocoa, FL
Duration: Contract to Hire
Shift: 1st and 2nd Shift Available+ $3.00/hour Night Shift Differential (2nd Shift)
Pay Rate: Up to $26.00/hr. (Depending on experience)
We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Structural Steel Fitter/Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for precision and a keen eye for detail. Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout requirements.
- Perform fitting and welding tasks according to project specifications and industry standards.
- Operate and maintain welding equipment and tools in a safe and efficient manner.
- Ensure accuracy and quality in all fabrication and welding processes.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet project deadlines and objectives.
- Always adhere to safety protocols and regulations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Structural Steel Fitter/Welder or similar role
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong knowledge of welding techniques, equipment, and materials.
- Has the ability to set-up and use track torch.
- Ability to pass all test for Flux Core Welding
- Certification in welding (e.g., AWS) preferred.
- Attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Commitment to safety practices and procedures

Pay: Up to $29.00 per hour

Education:
- High school or equivalent (Required)
Experience:
