Location Manager – Disaster Restoration

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Location Manager to lead and grow our Sioux Falls disaster restoration operation. This individual will oversee day-to-day operations, manage field and office personnel, ensure high-quality customer service, and drive operational performance across water, fire, mold, and other restoration services.
The ideal candidate is a strong leader with hands-on restoration experience who can manage people, solve problems under pressure, and help build a high-performing culture focused on accountability, service, and growth.
This is a leadership role with significant opportunity for advancement within a growing multi-location restoration company.
ResponsibilitiesOperational Leadership
- Oversee daily operations for the Sioux Falls location
- Manage restoration projects from intake through completion
- Ensure jobs are completed efficiently, profitably, and to company standards
- Monitor scheduling, production timelines, equipment usage, and workforce allocation
- Maintain high standards for customer communication and job documentation
Team Management
- Lead, train, coach, and develop field technicians and office staff
- Conduct performance reviews and hold team members accountable
- Build and maintain a positive, high-performance culture
- Assist with recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and retention efforts
Customer & Insurance Relations
- Maintain strong relationships with customers, adjusters, contractors, and vendors
- Handle escalated customer concerns professionally
- Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction throughout the restoration process
Financial & Administrative Oversight
- Monitor job profitability, budgets, and production metrics
- Ensure proper documentation, invoicing, and compliance with company procedures
- Work closely with leadership on growth initiatives and operational improvements
Emergency Response
- Participate in on-call rotation and emergency response coordination
- Help lead large-loss and catastrophe response efforts when needed
QualificationsRequired
- Minimum 2 years of management or leadership experience
- Minimum 2 years of disaster restoration experience
- Strong understanding of water, fire, smoke, and mold restoration processes
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to lead teams in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
Preferred
- IICRC Certifications (WRT, ASD, FSRT, AMRT, etc.)
- Experience with Xactimate or restoration estimating platforms
- Experience managing crews, scheduling, and production operations
- Prior experience in a multi-location or growth-focused restoration company

Pay: $65.00 - $75.00 per year
