Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and assist with ticket purchases at the box office using POS (Point of Sale) systems.
- Process cash, credit, and digital transactions accurately while maintaining balanced cash drawers.
- Provide information about upcoming events, seating options, and venue policies to enhance guest experience.
- Manage queues during busy periods, ensuring smooth flow and minimizing wait times.
- Enforce safety protocols and venue policies to ensure a secure environment for all attendees.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve conflicts or issues promptly with professionalism and patience.
- Support event setup and breakdown activities, including manual handling of tickets, materials, or equipment when necessary.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service roles is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a positive attitude are essential!
- Familiarity with event venues or outdoor work environments is advantageous.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and operate POS systems confidently.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to speak clearly in public settings.
- Experience working with children or in hospitality environments is a plus.
- Knowledge of safety protocols, basic math skills, and manual handling techniques are beneficial.
- Certifications such as CPR, First Aid, or Lifeguard experience are valued but not mandatory; training can be provided.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting, stand for extended periods, and perform outdoor work as needed.
