Job Title: Industrial Welder / Pipefitter
Location: Trenton, NJ or Stockertown, PA
Pay: $25-$40/hr DOE

About the Role
A growing industrial services company is hiring an Industrial Welder / Pipefitter to support mechanical projects at customer sites throughout the region. This is a hands-on field role for someone with experience in both welding and pipefitting.
This is a good fit for someone who has worked in industrial, commercial, plant maintenance, mechanical contracting, or process piping environments and is comfortable working from drawings, layouts, and project requirements.
Responsibilities
Perform welding and pipefitting work on industrial mechanical projects.
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, bid packages, and measurements to plan layouts.
Weld components in flat, vertical, and overhead positions.
Work with welding processes such as Stick, TIG, MIG, and Flux Core.
Work with piping systems, valves, fittings, filters, and related components.
Use tools and equipment such as pipe threading machines, torches, grinders, port-a-bands, and chain falls.
Inspect welded surfaces, structures, and components for quality and defects.
Follow company and customer-site safety procedures.
Maintain clean and organized job sites, trucks, trailers, laydown areas, and waste storage areas.
Travel to customer sites as needed for project work.
Qualifications
Experience with both welding and pipefitting required.
Experience in industrial, commercial, mechanical, plant maintenance, or similar field environments preferred.
Ability to read drawings, layouts, and project information.
Familiarity with pipefitting tools, piping systems, valves, fittings, and related components.
Welding experience with Stick, TIG, MIG, or Flux Core preferred.
Valid driver’s license required.
Must be comfortable with field/customer-site work.
Must be able to work independently and safely.
Must be open to overtime, weekends, travel, and on-call rotation as needed.
Must be able to meet pre-employment requirements, including drug screen and DOT/MVR requirements.
Helpful Experience
Process piping or utility piping.
Stainless, carbon, copper, or sanitary piping.
Code-quality welding, visual inspection, or x-ray quality weld experience.
Rigging, pumps, motors, valves, industrial maintenance, or millwright work.
