Genesis Behavioral Hospital's healthcare system consists of an 18-bed inpatient unit located in Breaux Bridge and outpatient PHP/IOP clinics located in Lafayette, New Iberia, and Crowley. We are looking for a PRN Clinician for our IOP and PHP programs running 8am-2pm in LAFAYETTE, NEW IBERIA, AND CROWLEY.
Responsibilities and Duties
The clinician would be responsible for the following:
- Coordinate patient care with the treatment team and patient’s support systems
- Conduct group/individual therapy sessions
- Maintain contact with patient family/support systems
- Monitor patient progress in treatment and develop/update individualized care plans
- Participate in treatment team staffing and document patients' status/progress
- Perform case management and discharge planning as directed by the treatment team
- Assist in patient supervision and care on facility grounds.
- Completes documentation thoroughly and timely on a daily basis
Qualifications and Skills
- Master’s Degree in Social Work or Counseling
- Active professional license (PLPC, LPC, CSW, LMSW, LCSW)
