Savvee Inc. is seeking a seasoned Senior Public Affairs Specialist to support our federal client remotely. The ideal candidate will act as a trusted advisor and communications leader who drives high‑impact messaging during fast‑moving and high‑visibility moments while confidently leading teams through competing demands. They will also shape executive‑level communications while ensuring consistency with the client’s priorities.

Serving as strategic lead and main contact for leadership.

Driving project management for highvisibility policy rollouts, events, and story placement.

Leading crisis communications, including rapid response messaging, press statements, FAQs, and leadership communications.

Drafting and overseeing executive communications and speechwriting, including remarks, talking points, and briefing materials for senior leadership.

Providing oversight, review, and prioritization support across other communication activities, ensuring quality, consistency, and appropriate escalation.

Serving as a lead for high‑visibility policy rollouts, announcements, events, and coordinated messaging.

Providing leadership during periods of increased workload and competing priorities, rapidly re‑prioritizing work and directing staff during simultaneous high‑priority demands.

Ensuring messaging consistency with the client’s priorities, policy, and direction.

Participating in senior‑level meetings and advise principals during time‑sensitive communication efforts.

Mentoring mid‑ and junior‑level staff and set communications standards while supporting the team’s professional development.

Understanding the organizational policies and procedures for accuracy of solutions and deliverables to the client.

Demonstrating a commitment to quality and customer support.

Four or more years of experience
-
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with confidence and experience to ensure materials meet quality and approval standards.

Must have the ability to obtain the client’s Public Trust clearance

Proven familiarity with Artificial Intelligence (AI) concepts and responsible use of AIassisted tools

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
