House Supervisor
Shift - Nights with the potential for an occasional day shift. Three, 12-hour shifts per week with weekends and holidays required. The schedule is variable with no set days
Job Summary
The House Supervisor plays a vital leadership role within healthcare facilities, overseeing patient care operations and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services across various departments. The House Supervisor acts as a central point of contact for staff, patients, and families, fostering a safe, efficient, and compassionate environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide immediate oversight of patient care activities, ensuring adherence to clinical protocols and safety standards.
- Coordinate staffing schedules, manage resource allocation, and supervise nursing and support staff to optimize workflow.
- Serve as a liaison between departments, resolving operational issues promptly and effectively.
- Monitor patient assessments, vital signs, and medical documentation to maintain accurate records in EHR systems.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations, state healthcare laws, and facility policies related to patient privacy and safety.
- Facilitate communication during critical incidents or emergencies, including trauma or acute care situations.
- Support discharge planning, medication administration oversight, and ensure proper documentation of medical procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing; equivalent combination of education and experience considered
- Current Montana Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
- BLS, ACLS, PALS and NIHSS certifications
- Five (5) years acute care nursing with varied experience
- Preferred: Previous supervisory/management experience
- Preferred: Critical care or emergency department experience

Pay: $76.00 per hour

- acute care nursing: 5 years (Required)
