The Banquet Coordinator works closely with the Sales and Event Manager at multiple properties to ensure seamless event execution.
Serves as the primary point of contact for all events, including those occurring simultaneously at multiple locations.
Coordinates event details, logistics, and communications between clients, vendors, and internal teams.
Oversee the execution of multiple events, ensuring exceptional service and guest satisfaction.
Provides proactive leadership, direction, and support to the banquet team to maintain efficiency and high-quality service.

Crucial role in ensuring seamless event execution while maintaining the exceptional reputation of all properties.
Event Setup & Tear-down: Oversee event setup and breakdown according to the Banquet Event Order (BEO) and client specifications.
Administrative work: Assist the Event Manager with miscellaneous administrative duties.
Facility & Event Knowledge: Maintain a strong understanding of both venues and each event’s unique requirements.
Team Leadership: Provide clear instructions to banquet team members and ensure smooth execution.
Support & Problem-Solving: Remain available to assist staff, troubleshoot issues, and ensure guest satisfaction.
Vendor Coordination: Collaborate with the Catering Team and outside vendors to align event details with client expectations.
Operations & Logistics: Assist with scheduling, inventory, and labor management to optimize efficiency.
Technology Management: Operate and troubleshoot Audio/Visual systems, gaming systems, and other event technology as needed.
Team Organization: Direct and organize team members to ensure flawless event execution.
The Banquet Coordinator position requires a combination of strong leadership skills, organizational abilities, and hands-on event experience to ensure seamless event execution.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent analytical, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills (both written and verbal).
Ability to work well under pressure while managing multiple priorities and assignments.
Proven ability to lead and manage people and processes in a dynamic, evolving environment.
Strong team building and leadership skills, including the ability to motivate, collaborate, and contribute with teams across multiple disciplines.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Must be physically able to work long hours, including standing, moving, and lifting as required.
Three (3) to five (5) years of experience as a Banquet or Event Assistant, Lead, or Captain; or
An equivalent combination of education and experience as a server and bartender with strong event knowledge.
