COMPENSATION
Competitive base salary plus commission. Base salary starts at $45,000, with On-Target Earnings (OTE) potential ranging from $75,000 – $100,000+ annually, depending on performance. High performers have the opportunity to exceed this range.
While our headquarters are in Toledo, Ohio, this role is field-based and allows you to work from home, with regular travel throughout your assigned territory throughout Florida.
JOB SUMMARY:
The Outside Sales Representative is primarily responsible for developing new business while growing existing customer relationships within an assigned territory. This role is ideal for a self-motivated salesperson who enjoys prospecting, building relationships, and closing new business opportunities.
This is a field-based position that requires regular travel throughout the assigned territory to meet with customers, conduct product presentations, and identify opportunities for growth. The role manages key customer relationships while actively prospecting for new accounts across a variety of industries including food processing, beverage, manufacturing, distribution, and retail packaging.
Working collaboratively with internal teams, the Outside Sales Representative delivers customized labeling and packaging solutions that meet customer needs while upholding Bollin Label Systems’ commitment to quality products and dependable service.

PRIMARY DUTIES:
- Identify, prospect, and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned sales territory to drive revenue growth.
- Travel regularly within the assigned territory to meet with customers, conduct sales presentations, and develop new business relationships.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers while identifying opportunities to expand business within assigned accounts.
- Manage and grow a portfolio of strategic and key accounts through regular customer engagement and consultative selling.
- Conduct in-person customer visits to assess operational needs and recommend customized labeling and packaging solutions.
- Prepare and present pricing quotes, proposals, and product recommendations that align with customer requirements and company capabilities.
- Negotiate pricing, service agreements, and project details with prospective and existing customers.
- Maintain regular communication with customers to ensure satisfaction, resolve issues, and strengthen long-term partnerships.
- Collaborate with internal teams including estimating, pricing, marketing, operations, and customer service to ensure solutions meet customer specifications and timelines.
- Maintain accurate customer records, sales activities, forecasts, and opportunities within the company's CRM system.
- Monitor orders, shipments, and project timelines to ensure smooth delivery and a positive customer experience.
- Represent Bollin Label Systems at customer meetings, trade shows, and industry events to promote company capabilities and generate new leads.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS (Education & Experience):
Required: 5+ years of outside sales experience, preferably in B2B environment required. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals. Experience managing key accounts and developing new business within an assigned territory. Valid driver’s license.
Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field preferred. Experience in printing, labeling, packaging, food & beverage, or manufacturing industry preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
- Strong territory management and key account development skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Candidates must have a dedicated home office, reliable high-speed internet, and the ability to work independently while managing a sales territory.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. with or without accommodation.
- Ability to travel regularly within territory.
- Ability to understand customer needs and recommend appropriate labeling and packaging solutions.
- Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems (Zoho CRM a plus).
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and sales opportunities while working independently in a field-based role.
PHYSICAL AND MENTAL DEMANDS:
This position requires approximately 70% travel throughout the assigned territory, including frequent local travel and occasional overnight travel for customer visits, trade shows, training, and company meetings. The role may require standing for extended periods and occasionally lifting materials up to 50 pounds. The position also requires strong concentration, problem-solving, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

This position may have access to confidential company and customer information, including pricing, customer lists, sales strategies, and proprietary product information. The employee is expected to maintain the confidentiality of all sensitive information in accordance with company policies.
CHARACTER OF SUPERVISION:
This position works under general supervision and is expected to operate with a high level of independence while managing an assigned territory and meeting established sales goals.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
This is a field-based remote position. Employees work from a home office while traveling throughout their assigned territory to meet with customers. Periodic travel to company headquarters in Toledo, Ohio for training, meetings, or special events may be required.
