Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of menu items with precision and consistency, ensuring all dishes meet quality standards
- Handle food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, portioning, and plating with attention to detail
- Maintain strict food safety and sanitation standards throughout all kitchen activities
- Support food handling procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations and safety guidelines
- Collaborate with team members during busy service periods to ensure timely delivery of meals
- Contribute to the setup and breakdown of kitchen stations, including cleaning and organizing work areas after shifts
Experience
- Proven experience as a line cook or in a similar food industry role, preferably in fine dining or restaurant environments
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food handling safety practices
- Experience with meal preparation for diverse dietary needs
- Skilled in knife skills, food presentation, and portion control
- Background working in catering or food service settings is highly desirable
- Prior kitchen experience that demonstrates reliability, teamwork, and attention to detail
