Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily activities, ensuring their safety and comfort during treatment sessions.
- Conduct behavioral assessments and collect data to monitor progress and inform treatment strategies.
- Implement behavior management techniques, including applied behavior analysis (ABA), to support positive behavioral changes.
- Administer medications following prescribed protocols and document medication administration accurately.
- Perform vital signs checks and monitor physical health indicators as part of comprehensive patient care.
- Support crisis intervention efforts by managing emergency situations with effective crisis management skills.
- Maintain detailed medical records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and confidentiality standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans tailored to each client’s needs.
- Engage in ongoing training related to special education, addiction counseling, autism support, PTSD care, and working with individuals with disabilities.
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.
- Knowledge of crisis intervention techniques and crisis management procedures.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, medical documentation, and data collection methods.
- Ability to perform medical tasks such as vital signs measurement and medication administration accurately.
- Strong understanding of behavior management strategies and applied behavior analysis (ABA).
- Excellent communication skills for effective social work and patient interaction.
- Ability to handle sensitive situations professionally while maintaining confidentiality under HIPAA guidelines.

Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour
