Overview
We are seeking a talented and creative Camera Operator to join our dynamic production team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for visual storytelling and a strong understanding of camera operation and techniques. As a Camera Operator, you will play a crucial role in capturing high-quality footage for various projects, including commercials, documentaries, and live events. This position requires both technical skills and artistic vision to bring our stories to life.
Duties
- Operate cameras and related equipment to capture high-quality video footage.
- Collaborate with directors and producers to understand project goals and visual style.
- Set up and adjust camera equipment, including lighting and sound as needed.
- Ensure proper framing, focus, and exposure for each shot.
- Review footage for quality control and make necessary adjustments.
- Maintain equipment in good working order and report any issues promptly.
- Assist in the editing process by providing input on shot selection and sequencing.
- Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and technology to enhance production quality.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Camera Operator or similar role in video production.
- Proficiency in operating various types of cameras and understanding camera settings.
- Knowledge of lighting techniques and sound recording is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- A creative mindset with an eye for composition and storytelling.
- Familiarity with video editing software is an advantage but not required.
