Maintenance Technician
1st shift - 7a-5p Mon - Fri
3rd shift - 9p-7a Mon - Fri, training on 1st shift (7a-5p) for 3-4 weeks
Job Summary:
The Maintenance Technician II is responsible for independently performing maintenance and repair tasks on a variety of equipment and systems. This position requires a deeper understanding of maintenance techniques and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
· Preventive Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems.
· Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues to minimize downtime.
· Equipment Repairs: Perform repairs and replace defective parts using appropriate tools and techniques.
· Process Documentation: Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, including work orders and equipment logs.
· Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to coordinate maintenance activities and support operational needs.
· Assemble electro-magnetic pump systems on manufacturing equipment.
· All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in maintenance or a related field preferred; experience in industrial maintenance.
· Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals and blueprints.
· Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
· Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment.
· Basic troubleshooting skills.
· Basic skills of MIG welding; steel welding is a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
