Duties
- Prepare and assemble pizza ingredients, including dough, sauces, cheeses, and toppings with precision and care
- Use professional knife skills to slice vegetables, meats, and other toppings efficiently and safely
- Operate pizza ovens and other kitchen equipment to cook pizzas to perfection
- Follow established recipes and menu plans to ensure consistency in flavor and presentation
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety standards
- Assist with menu planning by suggesting new pizza varieties or seasonal specials
- Handle food safely by practicing proper food handling techniques during preparation and service
Requirements
- Prior experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar role within the food industry is highly preferred
- Knowledge of dietary department practices and dietary aide experience is a plus for understanding special dietary needs
- Experience with menu planning, catering, or fine dining environments is advantageous
- Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation are essential for efficiency and safety
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures is required
- Previous restaurant or kitchen experience demonstrating excellent food service skills is desirable
- Ability to work quickly in a high-energy setting while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
