Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and components for daily menu items, including chopping, slicing, and portioning ingredients using proper knife skills and slicing techniques
- Assist in cooking and food preparation tasks to ensure timely delivery of meals while maintaining high quality standards
- Follow food safety protocols and safety standards during all stages of food handling and production
- Support menu planning by organizing ingredients and assisting with recipe assembly for various dishes
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment sanitation and proper storage of ingredients
- Help with food service operations by plating dishes accurately and assisting with catering or special event preparations
- Ensure compliance with all safety standards in production areas to promote a safe working environment for all team members
Requirements
- Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is highly desirable, demonstrating proficiency in FAST PACED food service operations
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills for serving guests and collaborating with team members
- Flexibility to adapt to various shifts and responsibilities within the culinary setting
