Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to nursing staff and deliver high-quality patient care in various settings, including inpatient units, clinics, and behavioral health environments. Duties
- Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Provide support to nursing staff by preparing patients for examinations and procedures.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by adhering to infection control protocols.
- Lift and transfer patients as needed while ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Document patient information accurately in electronic health records systems such as Cerner.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Support behavioral health initiatives by providing empathetic care to patients with mental health needs.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of physiology and basic medical terminology is essential.
- Familiarity with Level II Trauma Center protocols is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Ability to lift patients safely and assist with mobility as required.
- Experience in inpatient care or clinic settings is highly desirable.
