Position Summary
TotalMD is seeking a skilled and compassionate Part-Time Pain Management Physician (MD/DO) to join our growing multi-specialty practice. The ideal candidate will have experience treating patients involved in personal injury, workers' compensation, and liability cases and be proficient in performing a variety of in-office interventional pain procedures.
This part-time opportunity offers flexibility while providing the ability to work within an established patient base and referral network. The physician will work alongside orthopedic specialists, chiropractors, physical therapists, and primary care providers dedicated to delivering comprehensive, patient-centered care.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic pain conditions.
- Develop individualized treatment plans to improve patient function and quality of life.
- Perform in-office interventional pain procedures, including but not limited to:
- Trigger Point Injections
- Joint Injections
- PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) Therapy
- Ultrasound-Guided Injections
- Peripheral Nerve Blocks
- Radiofrequency Ablation (RFA)
- Other regenerative and non-surgical pain management treatments
- Interpret diagnostic imaging and other clinical studies.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation.
- Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons, chiropractors, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Manage patients involved in personal injury, motor vehicle accidents, slip and fall injuries, and workers' compensation claims.
- Provide clear medical documentation that supports continuity of care and legal requirements when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and regulatory guidelines.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
- Active Florida medical license or ability to obtain one.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in a relevant specialty preferred.
- Experience in Pain Management, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, Orthopedics, Anesthesiology, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience performing in-office injections and regenerative medicine procedures, including PRP.
- Experience treating personal injury, workers' compensation, and liability-based cases preferred.
- Strong clinical judgment and procedural skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Experience
- Fluoroscopy-guided procedures.
- Ultrasound-guided injections.
- Regenerative medicine therapies.
- Ability to work effectively with providers across multiple specialties.
- Experience managing personal injury and motor vehicle accident patients, including proficiency with narrative reporting, impairment evaluations, and deposition/testimony support, is highly desirable.

Pay: Up to $2,700.00 per day
