Veterinary Nurse (RVT or Experienced Assistant)Emergency Medicine Without the Overnight ICU Life
Some people got into veterinary medicine because they love wellness appointments.
We are not those people.
At STATVet, we spend our days helping sick and injured pets, running anesthesia, assisting in surgery, managing emergencies, solving problems, and practicing the kind of medicine that reminds you why you got into this profession in the first place.
If that sounds exciting, keep reading.
What Makes STATVet Different?
We are a locally owned emergency and urgent care hospital with two Tulsa locations and a team of five veterinarians who genuinely enjoy practicing medicine together.
On any given shift, you might assist with:
- Foreign body surgeries
- Emergency C-sections
- Laceration repairs
- Toxicity cases
- Sedated procedures
- Ultrasounds
- Endoscopies
- Medical emergencies ranging from mild to "how is this even alive?"
No two shifts look exactly the same.
And that's exactly why many of us love it.
The Best Part?
No overnight hospitalization.
We'll say it again for the people in the back:
No overnight hospitalization.
We provide high-level urgent and emergency care, but patients requiring 24-hour ICU management are transferred to specialty facilities.
That means you can practice great medicine, continue growing your skills, and still sleep in your own bed at night.
We Believe Veterinary Nurses Should Actually Get to Nurse
We're looking for people who want to use their brains, their skills, and their training.

- You want to spend most of your day sitting down
