The Supply Chain Analyst is a forward-looking role within the Supply Planning team, responsible for supporting demand and supply planning, owning preparation of the monthly Integrated Business Planning (IBP) deck, and coordinating key supply chain KPIs across the organization. Partnering closely with the Senior Planner, the analyst anticipates supply and production needs, surfaces issues before they become disruptions, and applies automation and AI tools to remove manual bottlenecks across the planning workflow. The role is built to drive measurable improvement, not just maintain the status quo.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the use of AI and automation across Supply Planning. Identify processes ripe for automation; design, build, and deploy solutions (AI-assisted workflows, Excel automation, Power Automate, scripting) that eliminate manual work and accelerate routine tasks such as work order creation, reporting, and data reconciliation. Measure impact in cycle time and error rates.
- Use AI tools to accelerate analysis: draft reports, summarize planning data, generate scenarios, and surface patterns the team would otherwise miss.
- Support demand planning activities: maintain demand inputs, track forecast accuracy, and partner with Sales and Commercial on assumptions and changes.
- Own the preparation and coordination of the monthly IBP deck. Gather inputs from Sales, Operations, Finance, and Supply Planning; ensure data quality, alignment, and on-time delivery to the leadership review.
- Coordinate and maintain the supply chain KPI suite. Build dashboards that surface supply, demand, inventory, and capacity risks before they become problems, and drive accountability across functions for KPI performance.
- Own work order creation in the ERP system, applying automation wherever possible to anticipate production needs rather than react to them.
- Partner with Production, Procurement, Sales, and Commercial to anticipate constraints and align plans before disruptions occur.
- Lead documentation, standardization, and continuous improvement of planning processes from idea through execution and measurement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of supply chain experience covering planning, demand planning, and/or S&OP/IBP processes.
- Hands-on ERP experience (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, xTuple, or equivalent).
- Advanced Excel: pivot tables, Power Query, advanced formulas, and data modeling.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to work on-site full-time.
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience using AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, or similar) in a work context.
- Experience with BI and visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).
- Food manufacturing or CPG industry experience.
- APICS / ASCM certification (CPIM, CSCP) is a plus.

- Process-oriented and detail-driven.
