Overview
A private country club cart attendant provides high-level member service, manages the golf cart fleet, and maintains the staging area. Key duties include greeting members, cleaning and charging carts, and maintaining the practice range.
Position Summary
The cart attendant ensures an exceptional golfing experience for members and guests by delivering prompt, polite service. This role manages the daily operations of the cart barn, prepares the golf cart fleet, and assists players with their equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Member Service: Greet members and guests by name, load and unload golf bags from cars and carts, and provide scorecards or tees.
- Cart Fleet Management: Clean, wash, and detail carts after use; plug in electric carts or fuel gas carts; and rotate fleet usage daily.
- Staging and Storage: Set up the cart staging area each morning and secure all equipment in the cart barn at closing.
- Practice Facilities: Pick up, wash, and restock driving range balls, and maintain clean hitting stations and bag drop areas.
- Course Communication: Report any cart damage, member complaints, or safety violations to the Golf Pro Shop.
Job Requirements
- Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand or walk for long periods.
- Friendly, outgoing personality with strong customer service skills.
- Flexible schedule, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays
Pay: $10.00 - $11.50 per hour
