Duties
- Monitor entry points and conduct thorough checks to verify identification and prevent unauthorized access
- Respond swiftly and effectively to incidents, conflicts, or emergencies, employing conflict management skills to de-escalate situations
- Enforce venue policies and legal regulations related to alcohol consumption, crowd control, and safety protocols
- Provide first aid or CPR when necessary, ensuring prompt assistance during medical emergencies
- Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency responders as needed to address serious incidents or violations
- Document all incidents, security breaches, and unusual activities through detailed reports for future reference
Skills
- 3+ years experience in security, law enforcement, or military service with a strong understanding of security protocols
- Ability to manage conflicts calmly and professionally while maintaining a positive environment
- Certification in first aid, CPR, AED, or TCCC to provide immediate assistance during emergencies
- Familiarity with law enforcement procedures and legal considerations relevant to nightlife venues
- Strong observational skills with keen attention to detail for surveillance and incident detection
- Excellent communication skills to interact confidently with patrons, staff, and emergency personnel
- Must have LTC
- Must be physically fit and pass drug screening
- Criminal background check required
