Medcare Hospice is seeking a compassionate and experienced Psychosocial Manager to lead our hospice psychosocial support services, including Social Work, Spiritual Care, Volunteer Services, and Bereavement Services.This is a leadership role for someone who understands hospice care, supports interdisciplinary teamwork, and is passionate about helping patients and families through one of life’s most meaningful stages.What You’ll Do
- Supervise and support hospice Social Workers, Chaplains, Volunteer Services, and Bereavement staff
- Provide guidance on complex patient and family situations
- Ensure timely psychosocial, spiritual, volunteer, and bereavement support services
- Collaborate with the hospice interdisciplinary team
- Monitor documentation, compliance, and quality standards
- Support staff development, onboarding, coaching, and performance improvement
- Assist with survey readiness, audits, and QAPI activities
What We’re Looking For
- Master’s degree in Social Work required
- LCSW preferred
- At least 5 years of healthcare social work experience
- Hospice or palliative care experience preferred
- Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and ability to travel as needed
