TITLE: Traverse City Campus Guest Services Coordinator
REPORTING: Traverse City Ministry Director
STATUS: Part-Time, 20hrs/week; Non-Exempt
The primary role of the Guest Services Lead is to equip and care for the guest services volunteer team of the Traverse City campus. This position exists to create a sense of well-being and joy across our guest services volunteer teams, and to fill our lobby with energy and clarity for guests and their next steps.

Education: High School diploma or equivalent

Experience: Leading and communicating vision; recruiting and shepherding volunteer teams.

Requirements: Expresses and has confirmation of a desire and call to lead in ministry at KC. Affirmation of the mission, values and beliefs of Kensington. Teachability, humility, moral/ethical integrity, the desire to grow spiritually. Has an affinity with Kensington Leadership and vision. Membership at Kensington Community Church.

Champion the value of volunteers for the campus. Recruit, support, encourage, manage and communicate with the campus ministry team leaders: (i.e. HUB Coffee, Usher/Greeter, Hospitality, Security, Traffic, and Medical teams). This position will be the main source of communication between the ministry leaders and the plans and activities of the campus.

Maintain a strong Sunday presence to troubleshoot, affirm leaders and volunteers, recruit new volunteers and help execute the weekend service.

Scheduling Weekend Guest Services team through Planning Center

Ensure that the lobby is set up to promote & accommodate ministry needs
