Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve meals according to established menus and dietary guidelines
- Assist with menu planning to accommodate various dietary needs and preferences
- Ensure all food handling and preparation adhere to food safety standards
- Execute cooking techniques with proficiency, including knife skills and culinary methods
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas
- Support catering events and special meal services as needed
- Assist in food presentation to ensure appealing and appetizing dishes
- Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional food service experiences
- Follow all health regulations and safety protocols during food preparation and service
Requirements
- Previous experience in dietary departments, dietary aide roles, or food service environments preferred
- Experience with menu planning, meal preparation, and cooking techniques
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
- Background in fine dining, restaurant, or culinary settings is highly desirable
- Skills in food industry standards including knife skills, food presentation, and catering support
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Flexibility to adapt to changing menus or dietary requirements as needed
