Responsibilities

- Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau, Power BI, Looker, and other visualization tools to communicate insights effectively to stakeholders.
- Design and implement database structures and data models in Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, or similar platforms to support scalable analytics solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams following Agile methodologies to deliver projects on time while adapting to evolving requirements.
- Conduct business analysis to identify opportunities for process improvements and data-driven strategies that enhance operational efficiency.
- Manage project lifecycles from planning through deployment by applying SDLC principles and project management best practices.
- Utilize scripting languages such as VBA, Bash (Unix shell), and Talend for automation tasks and data integration workflows.
- Engage in database design activities, including linked data integration and database optimization techniques to improve query performance.
- Support ongoing analytics initiatives by applying analysis skills across various platforms like Looker, Power BI, and Tableau for comprehensive reporting.
Skills
- Proficiency in SQL programming for data extraction and manipulation across multiple database systems including Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle.
- Strong experience with visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and Looker for creating compelling dashboards.
- Knowledge of ETL processes and tools like Talend for data integration and transformation workflows.
- Familiarity with programming languages including R and Python for statistical analysis and automation purposes.
- Understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) methodologies combined with project management skills to oversee analytics projects from inception to completion.
- Expertise in business analysis techniques to translate business needs into technical solutions effectively.
- Experience with database design principles, linked data concepts, and Unix shell scripting (Bash) for automation tasks.
- Ability to work within Agile environments while managing multiple priorities efficiently.
- Knowledge of analytics platforms such as Visio for process mapping and documentation purposes.
