Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and professionally, listening carefully to their vehicle concerns and needs.
- Provide detailed explanations of recommended services, including oil changes, brake repairs, tire services, suspension work, alignments, shocks & struts, and collision repairs.
- Use estimating software and computer-aided vehicle damage estimating tools to prepare accurate repair estimates.
- Upsell additional services and maintenance packages by highlighting benefits aligned with customer needs.
- Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs and ensure timely completion of services.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding vehicle status updates and service recommendations.
- Handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining excellent customer service throughout the process.
- Maintain detailed service records and write clear service reports for both customers and internal documentation.
- Assist in promoting dealership services through proactive client communication and follow-up.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an automotive service advisor or in a similar auto service management role; dealership experience is highly preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in automotive diagnostics, repair procedures, and vehicle maintenance.
- Proficiency with estimating software, auto estimating tools, and computer-aided vehicle damage estimating systems.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients.
- Ability to upsell services effectively while maintaining integrity and transparency.
- Experience in collision repair processes or auto service writing is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; driving experience is essential.
- Knowledge of automotive repair specialties such as brake repair, tire service, suspension work, shocks & struts, oil changes, alignments, and general auto repair procedures.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
