Retail Food Service Worker – St. Peter’s Hospital, Albany, NY
About the Role
St. Peter’s Health Partners is hiring aRetail Food Service Worker to join our team. This role focuses onproviding exceptional customer service, preparing fresh, high-quality food, and ensuring a welcoming and efficient dining experience. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and servefresh, high-quality food and beverages
- Providefriendly, efficient customer service at the counter or register
- Maintaincleanliness, organization, and food safety standards
- Assist withstocking, prep work, and kitchen support as needed
- Work collaboratively to ensure smooth daily operations
- Adheres to SPHP's code of conduct
Qualifications
- Experience in food service, retail, or customer service (preferred, not required)
- Strongcommunication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
- Ability towork in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Passion forfresh food and creating a positive dining experience
- Read, write and speak English at a minimum 6’th grade level
- Follow written and verbal instructions and complete high school level computational skills

Pay Range: $16.20-$19.35
Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location
