Fetterolf Corporation, a specialty valve manufacturer selling globally, has an immediate opening for a Precision Grinder/Production Assistant.
Job Summary
Grinders use different types of grinding, buffing, and blasting tools to remove excess metal; polish; bevel, round, and straighten edges; and remove defects, burrs, and holes to meet product specifications. You’ll also inspect the final product using gauges
You must be able to:
- Lift up to 50 lb. parts, and other items, from floor to waist, on a frequent basis
- Position work pieces on a vise or work bench using a hoist
- Masking and blasting of work pieces as and when required
- Operate cranes, hoists, grinders, blasters, and gauges
- Clean-up work area
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Experience in similar or related job is preferred but not required.
