Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist with food ordering, ensuring accuracy and efficiency using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Take customer orders at the counter or table, accurately process food service customer order management, and upsell menu items to enhance sales.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely for food preparation and support basic food handling procedures to maintain food safety standards.
- Manage cash register operations, process cash transactions, and handle retail sales transactions with precision.
- Maintain a clean workspace by adhering to sanitation and food safety protocols, including proper food handling and kitchen cleanliness.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their visit.
- Assist in operating café or quick-service restaurant equipment, supporting food preparation when needed, and ensuring quick turnaround times.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, quick service & fast food restaurant environments, or retail sales is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods.
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and transaction processing.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that promotes a positive dining experience.
- Knowledge of food safety management, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures.
- Kitchen experience or culinary background is a plus; previous café or grocery store experience is advantageous.
